Spindly Spiders

Spindly Spiders

A Poem by Ariel Olivia

Overwhelmed? Possibly, not
The feeling of erosion
Contortionist of ones mind
Apologetic, or nothing at all
Caught in the cross fire of another lie
Rehabilitation, denied
Accepted, except there's still no acceptance
Spiraling out of a depression
Unwinding into a life
A life, built off a lie?
Silence, it's broken through out the night
Cold, shivers, unrepentant without doubt
Everything's so open, from one end to another
Adjust; stating an understatement!
An extreme sense of fashion
Rehabilitation accepted
Onward to another life
Rebuilt, refocused & reimbursed?
Who said they'd be along?
Who said they'd belong?
Who said they'd all be along
A long time coming
Along into your life
Your life of which is acceptable
Teaching the almost
The almost human, individual
It's the perfect ending
To a denial.
