It's a Trip

It's a Trip

A Poem by Ariel Olivia
"

I'm not sure what inspired this.

"
everybody wants to win a trip
to New York City, to be a face in the crowd
I call it healthy.
I don't want what you think of me
I have a heavy heart
it's a condition, from things left unsaid
assumptions you can't afford
accusations sent abroad
a tragedy, I have a home remedy
faithfulness, loyalty.
don't worry it'll make sense one day
a breath of pollution, contaminated
a feeling that it doesn't matter
is there anything to lean on?
can you speak a foreign language?
I'm not strong, my heart is weaker
it's a bit of a burn, I give up it's your turn.

May not make sense, for some reason, this had a Woody Allen of the mid west feel to it. Maybe I am wrong, or maybe I just blew your mind (jk). But it had a strange, well. NY vibe of honesty.
