Music Reborn

I hear music in my mind
Seemingly sweet music
Soft, gentle, almost silent at first
Then it gets louder

It has a steady beat
Til the tempo increases
It goes faster and faster
Until I cannot count the beats

It gets louder and louder
Until I cannot bear it
Louder and louder
Until I want to scream

Then all goes silent
There are no sounds at all
Mouths move without words
Silent tears fall

My life flashes before me
And I am reborn
I close my eyes and listen
I smile as I hear the music again

I love the flow, its a very strong poem but the flow makes it pretty
