No Longer Afraid

I saw darkness clearly
He was small but strong
He turned around and looked at me
I saw his pale, white skin
and cold. empty eyes
He held out his hand
and said, "You will be safe."
I felt afraid at first but i took his hand
And I was no longer afraid of darkness
