A Poem by ArielMicheline

i told them all

the naysayers the trouble makers

that you were mine

promised to me by God

whispered on the wind by fate

your hands hold the keys to the heart

that i have bound

so tightly to my bootstraps

withered and worn but mine to protect

heretofore i will follow wherever

your wind blows

burning down the house when

im alone

longing, leaning, losing, and dreaming

of all you represent.

delighted by the mastery of your

hands 'round my hip...
