the moon and you

the moon and you

A Poem by ArielMicheline

“If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life.”

endowed with patience everlasting

tonka truck persistance

bull in a china shop waiting for the chimney sweep

i will gently roll you over into my

awaiting arms

dualing wildly with your internal swordsman

you cannot compete with the depth of my desire

innate knowledge that you and i are promised

to each other

sweet and cunning i can become if only

you'd succumb to my well wishing and

lack of misfortune you burn

hot sand between my toes i will watch

the stars rise in your honor

-she is-

nothing less than extraordinary
