You Are Loved And Protected

You are loved more than you believe yourself to be

There are some things that are difficult to perceive

You know in your heart that God hates to see you in pain

So hold your chin up high and put a smile on your face

You may have fallen short of His glory and been put to shame

But you have been washed clean of your sins by God's loving grace

So don't you ever fret if you will not be saved on Judgement Day

As long as you turn away from evil, and in the true Church you remain

There will be lovers of self, lovers of money, lovers of what is wicked

Man will be puffed up with pride, sneer at those who try to be righteous

They will masquerade as someone of noble character and appear wise

When in reality, they have no fear of God at all before their eyes

They will lack self-control; to their parents they will be disobedient

They will be abusive, boastful, full of conceit, and arrogant

It is people like these we should steer complete clear of

They can be the ones we expect the least; keep your guard up

While waiting for Christ Jesus to arrive once again

We must strive to do works of righteousness

That we will receive the gift of eternal salvation

And be free of God's wrath, anger, and condemnation.
