Just Another

Based off of a recent event in my life...

I push through each night,

on to a new day.

But the anger in my heart,

stays the same.

You won't be there

for those special things.

The thought of that,

drives me insane.

You won't be there,

when I take his name.

Or hold my first baby

and give us praise.

What you did,

makes me feel shame.

I refuse to play

your stupid game.

You call yourself a mother,

but I don't see it that way.

Just another cheater,

on a holiday.
