Sunny Saturday BrideA Poem by ♥ Ari Skye ♥This piece just stemmed from a scene in my mind. It might be a bit much for some readers.A sunny Saturday morning. Bells chiming in the air. Today, she’s going to get married. Say the words, “I Do”, without care.
A sunny Saturday morning, Curls in her hair. She slips on her wedding dress, Rushing to get there.
He waits for her, With bated breath. Hands slick with sweat, Standing at the altar.
A sunny Saturday morning, A body in the road. Blood staining a white dress, A bouquet of roses in her palm.
Vows left unsaid. A love left undone. On a sunny Saturday morning, A bride got overrun.
