I don’t know how to tell you,

How much you mean to me.

I’m in love, and I want to make you see.

 

You don’t feel the same.

A sister, is what you choose to see.

So that is what I will be.

I’d rather have you here,

Than not at all.

 

I long to lay with you.

To run my hands through your

Copper hair.

But I know you don’t feel that way.

Our dreams are not the same.

 

Your heart belongs to someone else.

She’s lucky, I guess.

To have her grip, on such a beautiful heart.

 

But does she accept you?

Every little flaw that you have?

Every beautiful, little flaw.

 

Does she want you?

Do you even know?

I want every part of you.

I love everything about you.

 

But a sister is all you see.

So a sister, is what I will be.

Thanks Tess. I don't expect anything from Izzy. In fact, it's kind of nice for there to be no pressure. He's not the only one my heart belongs to... It's nice to know that he'll always be there for me, even if it is as my big brother. After a long conversation, I realized that romantically, he might not be the best fit anyways. He has many emotionally issues himself and even as friends we sometimes clash. I just felt the need to get the words out, and after letting them out, I don't feel as heavy now.

Wow, this is kind of a moving on poem... I did enjoyed it a lot Ashley, specially the 6 stanza, people go with other people, but maybe them will not accept who they are, and then the one who you used to love would come back to you, but you're just going to be friends this time, nothing more.
