This piece was inspired after listening to Amy Winehouse's cover of "Cupid"

Cupid, keep your bow. I don't want to force his love,
I just want it to flow.
I fully want my lover's heart,
I don't want to depend on your part.

Cupid, don't make me cry.

If you force, he'll say goodbye.

It's true that my love life's
a mess.
But I don't want to depend on
you for happiness.

I'm not sure if I believe in

your fairy tale,
even though you tell it well.

Cupid, leave me alone.

How many times must I
ask you to go?
I want love,
but I want to gain it
on my own.

Just take your bow

and depart.
I'll be the one to win his heart.

Thank you Aaron. It's a complete opposite from the song. In the song she asks for his help. But I wanted to write something influenced by it, but different. This was the product. Lol. I'm glad you like it!
