Just giving the heart away...

With restless abandon,
I gave you my heart.
I beg you, don't tear it apart.

It's not often I give it this way.
One too many times, It's been
thrown away.

I've been through heartache
and pain.
To this day I still feel it in my veins.
Emotions so deep, it constricts my chest.

I'm depending on you, to take it away.
Make me forget, beg me to stay..

I'm in love with you.
So I give my heart away,
with restless abandon.

I can definitely relate to this, as I'm someone who falls easily in love, and I give my everything with hopes they'll do the same thing. Except it never seems to go the way I hope and I'm always the one left feeling vulnerable.
