I Wish

For a close friend...

I wish I could undo time.

Take back all the stupid things we did.

Take back all the pain you ever felt.

Take back all the pain I dealt.

I wish you could be happy now.

I wish you could be the old you.

The happy person, I knew.

I know you ache.

I know you sometimes want to die.

But please never give up.

Here are the reasons why:

I love you.

You are always in my heart,

and on my mind.

You deserve better than that.

　

I wish you could be happy.

I wish you felt no pain.

I wish I could see you smile.

I wish you never heard a lie.
