Black Tears

A waterfall of mascara

I cry black tears.

Everynight, as I think of you.

Streaming down my face.

Wondering why you weren't true.

I cry black tears.

Everynight, as I remember you.

Remembering the lies.

All the things you used to do.

I cry black tears.

The color matching my heart.

I wish I knew how,

to get you out of my heart.

I cry black tears.

Black as the night sky.

Sometimes, I want to scream,

because you're the reason why.
