Breakdown

It's inevitable to breakdown when someone builds an army against you...

I'm always the bad guy.

You try to build an army

against me.

Trying to turn my friends

into enemies.

You've won the war,

Your Majesty.

The victory is yours.

Let us bow down

and call you Queen.

I rue the day,

when I called you my friend.

It's quite clear,

our amity has reached it's end.

I didn't know friendship

had an expiration date.

I didn't know you were capable

of such hate.

Congratulations!

I love your approach to this piece. The image of that person building an army against you (lies, deceit, unfounded friendship, mental abuse, turning friends against you, etc.) comes through clearly as does your sarcastic, back-handed congratulations. My favorite lines are : "I didn't know friendship/had an expiration date." Another good write!
