Each and every day

you cross my mind.

Most times it hurts,

but sometimes it brings

a smile.

There were so many

things that went unsaid.

I wish I could turn time back,

at least for an hour.

I'd tell you how I felt.

How much you meant, inside.

How your kindness never went unnoticed.

How your friendship sparked a fire.

Something snaps me back to reality.

These words, I wish you could see.

I wish you were here with me.

You'll always be,

more than just a memory...

it's a beautiful piece, Ashley. so much love for your friend. it must hurt so terribly to lose our beloved ones. but, stay strong. we can't prevent death from coming, but we can try hard to love our family and friends while they're still with us.

It was very hard, to find out that he died. He was so young. He had just turned 20, 20 days before.
I was only 17..

If not, I suggest you try. Sometimes you can almost hear them answer back..
