A simple question of want...

You write me

words of beauty.

Waking the sleeping

giant in my heart.

Opening the flood gates

with each stanza.

Breaking down my

walls with your art.

Now, you no longer

want to play.

You tell me, eventually,

you will push me away.

My heart and mind

sit confused and dazed.

You made me look

forward to the days.

I'm not even sure,

if you want me now.

Do you want love

or a foolish clown?

Do you want to

walk away

or are you willing

to open your heart?

Do you want me to

stay or

do you want

me to let you go?

Do you even know?
