Take It Away

My skeptical side, rearing it's ugly, ugly head.

Beating myself up.

Why do I fall so quickly?

I can't control it.

I'm a loving person,

who doesn't get reciprocated love.

I rip out my heart

and give it to you.

You tear it up in my face

like a paper valentine.

Over and over,

I have to feel the pain.

My tears falling like rain.

Begging someone to

take it away.

An unreciprocated love,

poison in my veins.

Please.

Somebody.

Take it away.

I've been told that. Yes I tend to get hurt way more than others, but life has taught me to never ever hide my feelings...My first love taught me that. I never told him I loved him and Now he's dead. He passed away 8 years, this October... Now, I don't hide what I feel, but that leads to alot more heartache for me....
