Want

This is from my poetry book, "Un Billet-doux vers Mon Suel" (A Love Letter to My One and Only).

A tender kiss that meets my lips,

and yours as soft as petals.

You caress my skin and I tremor,

my body filled with passion,

only for you.

This has to be a dream,

for if it's real,

it's too good to be true.

Your voice reaches my ears,

and my body aches for more.

My arms reach out in earnest,

as I long to touch you back.

I can't believe I feel this way.

A love so warm and new.

With words to explain my feeling

this way, I whisper

"I want you, too."
