Life Without Rose Colored Glasses

Life Without Rose Colored Glasses

A Poem by ♥ Ari Skye ♥
"

This started out as a ranting journal entry. After I was done writing, I reread it, and thought to myself, "Hey, this could be an amazing poem with some work." So a few tweaks later, here it is. . .

"
What is life for us anymore?
A series of painful, unfortunate,
frustrating events.

Lives are crumbling.
Like a building,
devastated by an intense shake.

My image of choas,
or rather a life filled with it,
becomes my constant thought.

What would life be like
if we could get along?
What would it be like
if people were caring,
instead of the way they are?

What would life be like
if we were all different?
But we are not,
and so,
our lives remain the same.
