Solitary Hearts

I think this is a recurring theme, with everyone, hurt & pain in life. Wondering if you are alone...

What do we do

when the bad outweighs the good?

How do we be

as strong as we should?

How do we stay quiet

when we want to scream so loud?

How do we seem unique

when we're in a crowd?

 

All these questions unanswered.

All these lives coming apart.

All these tears that are falling.

All these hearts torn from the start.

 

Happiness is invisible,

a word foreign to my mind.

My heart, so very empty.

Forgotten,

over time.

Thank you darling. I no longer feel happiness is invisible, but at that point in my life I did. Thank you for saying my writing makes me unique. That's what I strive for in life.
