A Scream of Despair

This poem was written at a very weak moment in my life. I was hurting, but I felt that no one was hearing me.

Do you hear me screaming?

I'm straining my voice to get you to hear me,

but am I really screaming out loud?

I want a different view,

a different life,

a different voice,

but it does no good to wish.

I'm stuck here.

Stuck in this body.

Stuck in this world of lonliness.

Do you hear me?

Can you help me?

Who am I kidding?

You love seeing me this way.
