Entrance, Not Permitted

Entrance, Not Permitted

A Poem by ♥ Ari Skye ♥
"

Basically, a poem about not letting the one who hurt you, lead your life anymore. Not letting them into your heart, and not letting them influence your decisions.

"
Who do you think you are?
You don't hand out rights.
You can't give me permission,
to go on with my life.

You aren't who you think you are,
and you can't make me believe.

I'm not blind,
but you can't make me see.
Tear my innocence apart.
Cast it out, for all to see.

You return it to me shredded.
Broken, like glass jars.
I'll take away your admission.
Entrance, not permitted.
Heart no longer open to your part.

I've given up.
Don't know why I hide my scars.
Why be ashamed
of the things you led me to believe?

You aren't who you think you are,
and you can't make me believe.
I'm not blind, but you can't make me see.
Tear my innocence apart, cast it out
for all to see.
