The Jelousy rises

The Jelousy rises

A Poem by Ari_isnt_important

BTW: All my poems, writings and stories are real and about me.

                                                                                The Emotions Rise

Thirteen years and counting scars,
Each one hidden behind locked doors.
She doesn't cry"she burns inside,
A storm beneath her bedroom floor.

She watches them"the golden ones,
With perfect teeth and perfect skin.
They laugh like life was made for them,
While she just claws to fit within.

Their words are blades with sugar tips,
Their glances twist like rusted wire.
She dreams of screaming in their face"
Instead, she just sets rage on fire.

Why does she get all the praise?
Why does he not see her pain?
Why does the mirror only show
A face she’s learned to hate by name?

She tears her notebook page by page,
Draws monsters that look just like her.
Her heart, a cage of jealous screams"
Her voice, a ghost that won’t be heard.

She swallows grief like bitter pills,
Pretends she’s fine, pretends she’s full.
But nothing fills the hollow space
Of never being beautiful.

She’s not the sun"they told her that.
She’s just the shadow it forgets.
But deep inside, she’s gathering storms
That haven’t broken
not just yet.
