Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by Ari
"

Real.

"

I didn’t realize how corrupt my daddy issues were until you had left.

I’d always like to believe it was a hoax until you came -- until I realized you actually gone away.

You were the only constant thing in my life for as long as you were and then you became absent.

I don’t blame you,

You had to do what was right for you,

But it wasn’t how you left,

It was when you left,

And like I said,

It wasn’t your fault,

It was just when my subconscious made you into something that wouldn’t last, that I had realized just how nothing nothingness can be.

How brave of you to put this experience into a poem.
Raw, emotive and powerful.
Thanks for this.
