Chapter 2A Chapter by ArienasWhat's wrong with Sakura
The next day as I woke up, I felt like crap but I pulled on a pair of jeans and fished out an old shirt from the cupboard. I scrunched my hair into a messy bun as I walked down the stairs. I grabbed a container of Chinese food, I walked as I ate. I heard a voice behind me. “Hey, you, new girl,” I spun around. It was Jamie from yesterday. “I want to ask you something,” I continued walking as she caught up. “Can you cheer?” “What, why?” “We need more cheerleaders, stupid, you look perfect for the job. With a little help,” She replied smiling. “Uh ha and,” “Don’t worry about anything, just turn up to training tomorrow, and wear something, flexible.” She said walking off. Flexible, I was not wearing a mini and a b**b tube; I don’t even own a mini or a b**b tube. I was shaking my head as I walked into English. Miss Yarrow walked in behind me. “Sit down class, I’m going to tell you about your new assignment,” I jumped into a seat, great, right next to Zane, stupid, stupid me. He smiled at me as I sat down. “Now class, you get to design/create an animated movie. You can choose your own groups and it can be about whatever you want it to be. Have fun.” Zane turned to me, “You and me?” “Why not,” I replied, shrugging my shoulders. “You okay with Pyro’s? Cause I got a great idea” “No,” “But it’s a really good idea,” “No, NO PYRO”S,” “But,” “NO,” I said running from the class. I could hear Zane coming after me. When I was out the front of the school, Zane yelled at me. “What the hell was the about?” “Why should I tell you?” I ran away from the school, down all the roads, into the house, and onto my safe bed. Letting tears fall around me, like a wet blanket. I heard a nock on my door a couple of hours later. “Honey, there’s a boy here who wants to talk to you,” My father said as he opened the door. He looked down at my blood shot eyes, my read nose and my tear streaked face. “Do you want me to tell him to go?” “No Dad, just get him to sit down in the downstairs,” I replied wiping my face. “No problem sweetie.” “And thanks Dad, for everything,” I said attempting a smile. He smiled as he closed the door behind him. I stood up looking at myself in the mirror, oh what did I care what any of the people at that school thought of me. I walked down the stairs into the living room. I saw Zane sitting in the creamy apricot coloured room, and didn’t he look so out of place, with his baggy black pants and his grungy T-shirt. It almost made me want to laugh. “Zane, what do you want?” I asked stepping off the last step. “What are you doing here?” “Checking if you are all right,” His eyes full of concern. “And wondering what the hell that was about,” He said standing up. “Is it any of your business?” “Well if we’re working together I would like to know if I should expect any more small outbursts like that,” “But who cares what it was about?” “I do!” “Why? Why should I tell you?” “Because, I want to know!” “It isn’t news I blab around. I haven’t even told my best friend. Why should I tell you? Just leave,” “Not until you tell me what the hell it was about,” “Zane, out now.” I screamed pointing at the door. “Fine stuff you.” He yelled back, storming off. I fell into the couch falling yet again into tears. © 2008 ArienasReviews
