In her deep

 

In her deep thoughts, she shutters

Fear, hope, loss, what lies beneath

In her deep

In her deep

 

Noises around her

Laughter surrounds

Silence prevails

In her deep

 

One milestone after the other

Another award

Another goal achieved

She has lost still,

In her deep

 

They surround her,

they await her

She is unloved still,

In her deep

 

They say forgive and forget

She forgave

still have not forgotten

In her deep

 

They say 'smile'

Hell, she laughs

Yet it rains tears

In her deep

 

Who is she?

Who will she ever be?

All she knows is,

Something dies every second

In her deep
