Have they forgotten?A Poem by Soulful with WordsPoem Response to the 2010 Oscars, after hearing everyone’s acceptance speeches, was at lost of words for the lack of thanks given to the one MAN who made it all possible.Have they forgotten who made the stars in the sky to light up our nights? Have they forgotten who made the sun shine so bright? Or who created the sand along the sea shore, And filled the sea with majestic creatures of wonder and more. Have they forgotten who made the blue skies where the stratus clouds hang low? Have they forgotten who put the chill in the wind, or who made the white snow? Or who gave birds wings to fly and songs to sing, And who makes the earth cry with rain. Have they forgotten who made the cows, fish and all the meat that we eat? Have they forgotten who created the oil and natural gases that bring us heat? Or who provides the right amount of oxygen so that we can breathe, And who helps us not only get what we want…but everything that we need. Hope they haven’t forgotten who gave them that gift of singing, acting or twirling a hat? Who was there to tell them to keep pushing and always had their back? Or who created the people who supports the people with these special skills, Hope they haven’t forgotten who helped them gain those multi-million dollar deals. Hope they haven’t forgotten who provides rest at night and wakes them in the morning on time, Or who gives them hope, joy and a peace of mind. Or who grants them their greatest wishes and desires, It looked as if they forgot about HIM, like they forgot to read a line.
Hope they haven't forgotten about HIM..and I pray this in truth.... I would hate if for one second, HE forgot about you!
