The BattleA Poem by AreWeBothCrazyA constant struggle I face
I am a firm believer
That testing your strength By testing others Proves nothing. You only know how strong you are When you feel that sensation. When that little shake tremors up your frame. When those chills bury ice into your blood. When the flashes burn your insides. When you lie down at night Close your eyes And stare at the inside of your face For seven f*****g hours. When your legs, Just helplessly resting in front of you, Start fighting to escape And your bones try to crawl out of your skin. And you want to scream But you can't make a sound. And that's when you realize... If I knew that this was in store for me I would have never f*****g touched a thing. Now you know you have two options. Fight it with everything you have. Fight it until it stops, no matter how long it takes. Or give it what it wants. Hush is up for a while until you decide to go for option one again. Either way, pain lies ahead. Fight or flight. Kill or reward. I pick reward. Because that's all I've ever done for myself. And if it eventually kills me? Then I know I f*****g deserved it. © 2011 AreWeBothCrazyReviews
