The Rose of Winter

The Rose of Winter

A Poem by Arcus
"

A story told through haikus.

"
She died long ago
On a calm December night
Underneath the moon

I still remember
She was not afraid of death
Rather, leaving me

Every year since then
A single white rose has grown
Where she departed

This precious blossom
Is as dear to me as her;
The Rose of Winter
