You are the best of me,
You always will be
Forever, you have my love,
And I will always be lost in that moment of tranquility
That came upon me like a beautiful fantasy,

I will never forget your luminescent spirit;
The way the starlight shone in your eyes under the pale moonlight
We defiantly rebelled against all odds
For the forbidden desire of love in it's purest form

The way you breathed when you were in my arms;
The beating of your heart against my trembling hand,
Such moments, in my memory, will remain my cherished torment,
As I dream of once more being in your loving embrace

I never wanted this to end
I want to dream forever so that we can still be one
However, you are gone, and now I will never know
How to reach my happily ever after

What can I possibly do
To show you just what you are to me?
What can I say
To make this nightmare go away?
Forgive me for what I have done,
And let me once more find sanctuary in your heart

But, in my desperation,
It becomes clear that this storybook romance was not meant to be

There is so much heartbreak here, but out of that we can paint beautiful art, have been there too, in my life, and how strange it may sound, there is always a thing that rolls out of it... (a positive thing).

The end of a relationship is always difficult. But time does heal all wounds (so my mother told me), it just some wounds take a hell of a lot longer to heal than others.

I hope only the beautiful times will forever be etched upon your heart. You have touched mine with this bittersweet and beautiful poem.

This is beautiful and deeply sad.While we are busy loving them sometimes they are busy falling out of love with us.It is unfair to say the least but this is life.Ever changing never constant.You have written this from the heart and it is noticed.:)
