Raver's Paradise

Raver's Paradise

A Poem by Arctic Fox
"

Inspired after attending Dayglow New Orleans 2011.

"

A thousand bodies pouring sweat unto the cold warehouse floor.

The bass booming from the speakers hanging over head.

Lights flash all around as paint rains down.

Everyone becomes part of everyone else.

Lust fills the air as bodies come together.

The feel of another’s body on yours.

The intoxication of it all as your heart races.

The overwhelming sensations as hands travel.

It’s a modern ritual the underground observes.

Bass, paint, lights, cold metal, and a world of colors.

This warehouse is the lost souls’ paradise.

This paradise is an escape from reality.

The darkness consumes all that is not bright.

Each person a shining star in the Rave universe.

Everyone a unique entity attached to something much larger.

A unified dance that clears the mind and cleanses the soul.

Come devoid of prejudices and leave reborn.

Come to where the Ravers hold dominion.
