High Butterflies

High Butterflies

A Poem by Ana

He holds me in his arms and smiles.

The glow in his eyes are no lies.

Kind words from his mouth whisper in my ears.

His laughter stirs the butterflies in my stomach.

Too stoned to see I am so High.

If he were to know what would i say?

With a big sigh and a small lie.

Secret love? That is what I see in this poem. But it is really great to describe how one feels whenever they are with someone they have feelings for.

"Too stoned to see I am so high..

With a big sigh and a small lie."

--- I sometimes do this. Hahaha!! :D

Good poem. :) Keep on writing.

Nice Imagery, enjoyed reading your poem.

Good imagery, but rhyme scheme's random and the second line is slightly awkward. Overall, good piece with a lovely message. Write on.

Lots of imagery packs a hard punch in a small package. Good writing.
