Only Till Morrow

Only Till Morrow

A Poem by Archishman Rick

Mistakes prevail on a throne of laze,
As blunders persist in static haze,
Flying away are the moments to grow,
Running down pits are the skills you know.

Bliss found in stagnancy's latibule,
Blasphemy it is in floating bubble,
Under fleeting cover of coping lies,
Only be moving in fancy disguise.

From the greater swathes you guiltily hide,
Watching high speeds from idle frame of reference,
Until expelled wearing piteous hide,
Resenting your shameful stifling diffidence.

As what you had once pictured in dreams,
Now instead is haunting you in shadow,
Glint of gold still peeking from faint seams,
To be reclaimed waits only till morrow.
