Sizzling Snowflake

Sizzling Snowflake

A Poem by Archishman Rick

Bygone and benign wisdom for the wise,
Served and laid coarse on a wizened platter,
Unfamiliar although not in disguise,
To the pundits but a trifling matter,
Novel in ethics and naked in eyes,
Who savour new sweet and scrap old bitter.

Brilliance proclaimed and sailing on highs,
Forbearance dropped to raise Jolly Roger,
Maven means to nip buds of surprise,
In religion found never to suffer,
Preaching tenet through sheep guarded cries,
As floating snowflake on secure water.

Moral urge to liberate the terra,
Urgent vision to realize with their might,
Allied in passion to sound their era,
Distant in reason to define their fight,
Hotter in head than their fiery agenda,
Prone to meltdown before setting things right.
