Within Corners of Struct

Within Corners of Struct

A Poem by Archishman Rick

O born of the wide wilderness,
Simple, aware and earnest man,
With a granite heart of tenderness,
In honour's light sure of what you can,
Keep up errantry in knightly stand,
On this assuring home-rooted land,
Worry not about bestowing hands,
On paths leading to bourgeois grands.

Shaken esteem and broken belief in your stance,
Mended in remembrance of untainted trust,
In nurturing earth where blossomed your first advance,
Facing a harsh world to trek with poised conduct.

The ones on the gutter and those on the throne,
Bland stain of smut and bright sparkle of status,
Roles seen through wielding common eyes of your own,
That seat candid mirrors in divine chorus.
Chaos in calm within four corners of struct,
You contain with virtue in profound spirit,
A transcendent worth beyond social construct,
Lives in your conscience and by truth's lamp is lit.

~With a granite heart of tenderness,~ A great line. A great poem of inequity and the structure as is.
