![]() Sting of IronyA Poem by Archishman Rick
A trillion thorns glare over your head,
To clear what living space still remains, Your knightly shield lengthens the stoic stead, Delaying the moment of goring rains. The stand endures with unyielding spirit, Wielding the heat of a searing wave, Tempering the will to push the limit, Through the crumbling bleak icicle cave. You had arrived with a smile worth a priceless shine, With nobility warm to set alight a change, Just to pay the smile's worth in diminishing time, As the destination lay still a ways from range. Dead weight of ignorance falling with deadly edge, For you to bear and avert from ignorant lives, Tipped with sting of irony whilst you keep the pledge, Envisioning the wisdom that can soften knives. © 2025 Archishman Rick |
