Spirit WokenA Poem by Archishman Rick
I beheld a dream last night,
There blew a relentless storm, The view was blurred in my sight, The smell was out of the norm. With an adventurous glide, I tried to see clearly, The mystery that wants to hide, In the stupor queerly. With a pressing deja vu, I pushed back to understand, My senses dug deep into, The heart of this unknown land. Tense instinct soon let me know, In these depths lurks a great foe, I grabbed onto my last chance, To get into fighting stance. My venture then met its end, As if there I never went, Though the dream faded away, My spirit woken remained. © 2022 Archishman RickFeatured Review
