Fight's Worth Foothold

You have always wanted to fight,
The battle that rages beyond,
The thick veils of muscle and might,
For reclaiming your essence wronged,
Drifting apart, left to set right.

You gladly retain the will to fight,
Through ceaseless war soul encompassing,
Flame burns hotter in storm to stay bright,
As you witness it manifesting,
Swelling resolve makes the aim ignite.

You can see in this fervour to fight,
How power honed in hell awakens,
Dragging the devil out into light,
To keep your firm foothold unshaken,
You must now but carry on the fight.

Yes! Fight the "GOOD FIGHT" my friend. It is indispensable that we do so, "every hour, every minute, every day" as the words to my favorite song say. You can listen to that, if you're of such a mind, on my page. I have it embedded. Of all the rock, folk ballads, country music , jazz, bluegrass and hymns that I love, I think that one song by Triumph says more about my spiritual mantra than any other. We fight for love, for good, for honesty, integrity and brotherhood between all the families of man. Stand firm and know you are not alone in the fight. I really enjoyed this one!
