Did anyone really know Eminem before he got bad with recovery and relapse?
I knew eminem before anyone who i knew, knew him. When I found out about him I was only in 5th grade, was about fall of 2005. His newest album was encore, not even curtain calls was out yet. He was a rapper back than and he was the best. Now hes a joke to me its like hes almost in hip-hop its pains me when people say Love the way you lie and not afraid are his best songs. They say this because they didnt know him untill now and think hes some hip-hop rapper. Hes completely ruined his name for me, I personally hate his new album and relapse was a joke.  The eminem show, encore, slim shady lp, and the marshal mathers lp were his best albums.  I never liked him past his movie 8 mile but recovery set me off, it was like i was listening to a completely different rapper. People argue with me that he is  better now and that hes happier now that hes not on drugs. Sure hes off drugs, but he wasnt on drugs up untill encore. In one of his new songs it talks about his drug problems well he was forced to do that so people think hes "recovered". I dont like eminems new approach its terrible and im only lookin forward to his new album to see if hes gone back or staying with this new approach.

The title of the piece is really interesting...although it's the last piece that I've read from you, I should have made it my first. This is a good piece as well; it's kind of like an editorial in a sense, because you presented an argument and you picked a side. I don't really like rap myself, but I especially think that "Love the way you lie" is not as good as everyone makes it out to be. However, I like "Not afraid", probably because I only like the songs he does that actually mean something (like..."Mockingbird", I enjoyed that one a lot too). I'm not going to give you feedback on grammar, but if you want it, I can definitely supply it. But overall it was really good; you're amazing at writing monologues. It's not like a bantering rant, it's actually a monologue that I wanna read more of. Great job.
