Chapter Eleven/Twelve *Untitled*

Ok, super short chapter, but hey it does what is needed, you find out what teh whispers are, hope you like it :3 be sure to review

I woke with a start, and looked around frantically half expecting to see the living room and my angry parents, but instead I was in my room, in my bed, comfortable, as if I hadn’t almost died yesterday. It made me wonder for a moment if maybe it had all been a dream, just a really, really vivid and disturbing one. But I quickly displaced that theory, cause even though the whispers had lessened drastically they were still there, a constant reminder of what had almost happened to me last night.

I climbed out of my bed and stretched, working the numbness of sleep out of my body, and then got dressed for school. Suddenly I heard a slightly louder whisper and I focused on it, the voice sounded like Volt, she must be here. Hmmm, hot pink…or neon green? Gold is just getting soooo old She said, I could almost see her twirling her hair around her finger absentmindedly as she said that.

“Hot pink,” I said as Volt entered my room.

She looked at me surprised, her finger stopping mid twirl (ha, I had been right), “What?”

“You just said ‘Hmm, hot pink or neon green? Gold is getting so old’ I’m just saying I think hot pink looks better.”

“I didn’t say that,” She said shaking her head and looking like she saw a ghost, “I thought it.”

It was silent for a moment as her words hung in the air. I sat down as they sunk in. That’s what the whispers had been…thoughts.

“Oh, s**t,” I said slapping myself on the forehead, “I should’ve guessed. That’s just wonderful, I new trick to make me more of a freak.”

Volt sat next to me and put her arm around my shoulder.

“Well, you’ll always be my freaky friend.”

“Thanks,” I said, leaning into her, “I cant believe it…I’m a telepath.”

I LOVE THIS!!!!! even though its really short, its my favorite chapter so far...AHAHA i love dare..and hes a telepath; thats just too awesome to put into words. GOOD JOB!!!!!

Now we all know the secret :) Good job again. I'm um... surprised he didn't figure it out-I guess though, screaming people don't really leave room for thought. Just one thing you might wanna change though-where you have written about tricks to make him look like a freak, it looks like an 'I'. But it's not really a problem... unless it is an I. Anyway, I liked the way Volt consoled him, it made me giggle :)
