The Darkness of It All, Pt 1

The Darkness of It All, Pt 1

A Poem by Sammueal

Detached, me a mismatch of, from this world I long to be, just to disappear, caught up in the celestial skies;

Into the existence my heart truly desires, my original destined state aspired, which on Calvary He buys.

The sadness He felt, his creation away to smelt, knowing all was bound to be erased, save by grace;

The countdown ticks, click and click, but few realize the need to Him embrace, else lost in this race.

Tears trickle down, my heart unable to bear it all, fire bound, as usual unable to comprehend it all;

My deepest desire unanswered, this ever living cancer I want to be rid of, no more of, to accept my call.

But this path, I did the math, is only narrowly capable of being completed, all to be deleted if I fail;

Something I feel I will, to pay that unpayable bill I cannot so indeed it be fire, brimstone and hail;
