painful smile.........

sometimes we smile to hide our pain....

whenever i recalls my good old memories..

i smile even in midst of all the pain...

For quite a short period of time,

happiness came my way..

Leaving me with intense pain in my heart...

My heart aches, but i still smiles.

those memories are so powerful ,

that ,it leaves a smile on my face..

 

Once Life seemed to be smiling to me..

everything was just too perfect for me..

but this was a conspiracy of my destiny.....

It made me laugh, so that it could make me cry even louder.

But i won't let it happen..

those memories are strong enough to keep me going as far as i can go...

 

so what if there isn't any hope..

so what if  i am sorrounded by dark clouds of grief..

i am still going to smile..

i'll laugh at destiny to play such a cruel game...

I think .. we all go through what your poem discribes .. there is a time for tears and and time for smiles and sometimes they come together..all these years humans still suffer.. but we also still smile.
