Painted faces and long hair

Painted faces and long hair

A Poem by Emma Raether
"

A poem about someone in my life. I like him, but I am afraid and I am unsure of what to do... (I swear if one of my poems was indie, this'd be it)

"

Painted faces and long hair
You're bringing out the wild glamour child in me
Speared in the heart with fearful bliss
Did you know?
Piano keys and tenor vocal strings
You're beckoning my soul, to beat up this body
Just so it can float on notes like yours
Did you know?
Black cotton wings and a rainbow soul
Awaiting to come out of this chrysalis
I doubt your hands are strong enough to rip me out
Did you know?
Catalyst and velvet covered chains
How crazy this is,
Me reacting so much
To someone who plays such a small role in my life?

Feel free to critique. It's so very rough, but I wasn't sure how else to edit it. It can use a good beating.
