Piano Man

Piano Man

A Poem by Emma Raether
"

A poem inspired by a friend. He's always playing the piano, and he's so wonderful :]

"

His eyes change colors every day
He never eats
He never sleeps
Always wearing his coat of piano keys
Always loving
Always laughing

Do Re Mi
The piano man makes music just for me!

His magic fingers dance on the ebony stairs
And ivory floors
They do so much more than just hit keys

Fa So La
With emotion so raw
Do Re Mi
The piano man makes music just for me!

Slip and slide
His fingers do
His eyes –today colored grey
Are focused on the mental symphony

Ti do
This I know
Fa So La
With emotion so raw
Do Re Mi
The piano man makes music just for me!

The picture isn't mine, nor doesn't it really look like the real piano man.

Wow. This was completely great. I felt so peaceful and calm while I was reading it, and could actually imagine what this 'piano man' was like. You have a great way with words, and the way you used them definitely made a great piece.
