Violated, Vengeance

Violated, Vengeance

A Poem by Emma Raether
"

A poem about the anger I felt when one of my friends was raped. I'm not one who beleives in revenge, but I wanted to beat that guy up so bad...

"

Violated of the right of every bride
Stripped of every parent’s pride
All because of the lust of b******s

Why steal what is priceless
If it cannot be spent?
Why not be patient
For if it was meant to be
It would have been yours,
Yours, you monster…

Now she suffers in the shadows
With no way to the light
For not even the Redeemer
Can cleanse her of this impurity

I want to kill those monsters
Who did not believe
That good things take time…

One day, you’ll be at my mercy
In my clutches
And vengeance will be mine.
