Space Tunnel: An Offering

Space Tunnel: An Offering

A Poem by arcandon

this telescope tells me

then shows me what it's seen

  started off well enough

where it always wanted to go

and where for too long it's been

one night

the ridges of ice crater in the warm time of year

somewhere on mt. hopeful when the time is right for them

if it hasn't disappeared

for collateral, I left tears on the glass of your eye

in respect for, the knower of all's whereabout thereabouts

the seer of all scenes

 the magic goodbyes

your need to change angles the depth perception when the scope is good

but no one is going to scorn or scold or be bold and withhold that information

and through the windshield of life

& window to your heart when you first got a look

opened up in came backlight

left your clothes on a book

so hard it focuses now that you're here

and blessed is its gaze

when out there is what we always died for

to be pieces in the maze

but honestly, i must decline

leaving knowing what I don't know and wanted so bad

to be official

we've always been full on ignorant in these ways

but really..

 are we any less sad?

well?

are you mad?
