Stupid Crows (Leave Us Alone)

Stupid Crows (Leave Us Alone)

A Poem by arcandon

a dream! a voice!

boy knows girl knows boy knows fear

eyes open, bright lights, they close..

The ship stuck mud in the ears of the turbines and gears

it pressed on in the night and in day through a rose

Roda! Roda!

Their sharp, non-essential twitchy noses

that accentuate their deceptively unravelled tails

brings to mind, one would suppose

how hard and fast they could fail

but somewhere down below, somewhere all in a row

beating fast and slow

is a heart

two now

and they wail -

goodbye! don't go!
