TraverseA Poem by No One Important...for a contest...I dream of emerald forest scenes below a blue mountain backdrop and of azure seas graced with ivory clouds and a lemon sun of sunset hues glistening off a lake shore on a summer's evening and of buckwheat fields waving in the slight breeze of autumn
I see The sights of a mountain top the vast panorama before me trees like fine tresses artfully arranged on Mother Nature's head like a carpet far below
I know the freedom of the sea the unbridled passion of the waves crashing into me reminding me of the power beneath the cobalt surface
I wish for the silence of that lake shore the subtle perfume of flowers arranged carelessly in a woman's hair the panoply of colors playing across the evening sky painting a picture far beyond pretty
I smell The ripening scents of the autumn harvest the apples, the wheat, and the pumpkin the scents of snow hinted in the wind placing you on the edge of your seat hoping to see the first flake hit the ground
