Try

Try

A Poem by Lydia Thacker

To make you smile,
I'd move the stars,
if I could find a way.

To make you laugh,
I'd move the earth
and make it skip a day.

Sorrow does not suit you, love,
so please, just let me try
to give your heart the joy it needs
-can't bear to see you cry.

This is a good one! Love the last stanza - vividly shows that pull in your heart when you really care about someone.
